My upper front teeth have fillings and the tooth structure is compromised, its been drilled like a C cut and done with cosmetic dentistry. If the filling comes out can it be redone or cap is the only option.

As long as the filling stays , u just need to chill and need not worry at all . :) The problem will arise only if the filling comes out and then the treatment would depend on the clinical evaluation and radiographic examination . Wch will be as follows- 1) If there is no underlying secondary caries, nd no nerve involvement . You can go for refilling . Best esthetic treatment would be composite or porcelain laminates or veneers 2) if it involves the tooth’s nerve, then rct will be done first followed by all ceramic crown for best esthetics/appearance
Next Steps
1)Just try to avoid eating anything from ur front teeth . 2) Dont bite onto any pencil/pen fronm front teeth

The filling will not come out if it is maintained properly by proper brushing so that plaque accumulation and acid formation does not occur around it. And if by any chance it does come out it can definitely be replaced. Regards

If you don't have any pain or any discomfort then we can refill with the x-ray finding. If the x-ray shows any nerve involvement then we need to do rct and cap.
