Please get his sonography of the lower abdomen ( KUB and Prostate). He should also have KFT and Urine routine examination. A cause for his frequent visits to the toilet may be found.

It may be due to UTI. Incidence of UTI in extremes of ages is common. Does he have burning sensation during urination? Lower abdominal pain? Frequency can be due to BPH(prostate enlargement as well). Kindly consult with proper history for better management.
