Nondisplaced fracture through the base of the coracoid process with extensive marrow edema, mild acute ac joint separation with 5mm cephalad displacement of the clavicle with respect to acromion. Is surgery necessary?

Get traction x-rays for Shoulder and AC joint.

As per your description probably from an CT report, there seems to be no reason to go for surgery, this can be managed conservatively, and will take a time period of some 6 weeks to heal
