5th metatarsal base fracture
Hi, I got my ankles twisted which lead to 5th metatarsal base fracture. My doctor had put a fiberglass cast and asked me to keep it for 6 weeks. It's been 18 days now, I dont have any pain at all since a week. Can I get my cast removed?

Fracture will take a minimum of 6 weeks to heal. Earlier removal of plaster can lead to delay in healing with recurrence of pain and swelling. Consult your doctor before deciding.
