Had a fracture yesterday, doctor applied a slab support from elbow to wrist but suggested to undergo surgery as proper treatment.
Doctor said that a plate needs to be installed for proper alignment.

You need to choose between conservative or surgery. Both are ok.
Surgery has its own advantages of early rehabilitation and anatomical reduction.
Disadvantages are cost and scar.
