A 50 year old female patient sustained injury on her left wrist after falling on her outstretched hand. She has Colles fracture. I have attached the X rays. Does she require surgery.

This can be and should be treated without surgery.
Close reduction and plaster cast for 6-8,weeks followed by physiotherapy.
Paracetamol 500mg may be used for pain management.
