Fourchette Fissures
It appears that I have fourchette fissure in my vagina. Yes, I googled it up to help take online consultation. Can docs help me find its healing remedies. Background: I first felt it in Jan, left it because I thought it would be self healing. Now after 5 months, had some itch and swelling and when self examined, found the fissure again. Is it untreatable? How dangerous is it? Help.

The cause of fourchette fissure is generally a vigorous sexual act or an injury during childbirth. It is now 5 months. The stage of primary healing is over. I suggest you should consult with a Gynaecologist in your area who can examine you physically and confirm "your"  diagnosis. He will also decide whether you should get treatment for it or leave it alone. I know one thing, treatment may be more difficult and time consuming than leaving it alone.
