I have foot pain whenever I stand more than 10 mins. While cooking and taking care of household works, I get this pain. Bare foot walking in tile floor also causes pain. Whenever I wake up, my first 10 steps are painful. What is the reason for this?

daily do contrast bath ie hot and cold bath twice daily, hot for 3 min and cold for one minute. take two buckets , add hot water in one bucket and cold in another, start with hot then cold and then continue the sequence three times . always stop at cold.

Start wearing soft cushion foot ware like MCR chappal or sketches
Do foot stretching exercises
Avoid barefoot walking at home
Do hot fomentation

Based on the symptoms you have explained what i can suspect is a condition called as PLANTAR FASCITIS.
( but clinical examination should be done to confirm the diagnosis)
Plantar fascitis is a condition which is caused due to swelling(inflammation), stiffness in the plantar fascia of the foot
Causes- many ( eg: overweight, calcaneal spur, flat foot, long standing , walking, diabetes, hypothyroid etc)
Most commonly seen in females with body weight on the higher side.

Medications have a very minor role in this condition
- lifestyle modifications have to be done
1) change of foot wear, MCR footwear has to be used, both indoors and outdoors ( compulsory)
2) avoid long standing, walking barefoot until the pain subsides
3) apply any Pain relieving gel and massage for 10mins, immerse foot in Luke warm water for 10mins and do ankle pump exercises
4) take painkiller and anti-inflammatory for 10days irrespective of the severity of pain
5)physiotherapy- plantar stretching exercises, gastrocnemius and soleus strengthening exercises.
