First of all, which disease are you suffering from which needs Folic acid ? Secondly the Folic acid is water soluble. So it can't accumulate in the body. If you take an overdose it will be passed out in the urine.

Hello , folic acid or VIT B9 is used in pregnancy and for treatment of anemia mainly and doses might vary for these conditions Folic acid is a water soluble vitamin , so generally is not toxic
