Folic acid after 14 weeks pregnancy
I am 14 weeks 4 days pregnant, i have been taking "new folinal plus" tablet from past 6 months , can i stop it now or i should continue?! If has to continue when can I stop it?!.

Can stop folvite dear But continue iron and calcium supplements and Mothers Horlicks two spoons with milk two times a day

Folic acid supplementation is advised till 12 weeks of pregnancy  to prevent neural tube defects (type of anomaly)in baby. If you are taking ample green leafy vegetables and fruits and Vit B12 rich diet on day to day basis, there is no need for this tablet now.
