Hello Doctor, I have been having quite a lot of difficulty focusing for the past several days. For example, when I meet a new person, I can see and interact with them at the time, but when I meet them again after a few days, I sometimes cannot recognize their face or remember who they are.
I am also finding it difficult to concentrate on almost anything. It feels like my mind is constantly occupied with thoughts, and sometimes I feel as if there is a kind of dizziness or something moving/going on in my head. Because of this, I am concerned that there might be an underlying issue.
Could you please advise me on what might be causing these symptoms and what I should do about them? Please let me know if I should come in for a consultation or get any tests done.

There can be several causes like sleep or stress related issues, nutritional or metabolic problems, migraine or neurological conditions.
Please consult me with a detailed history and any previous reports so I can assess you properly and decide whether examination, blood tests or any other tests required.
I can be due to various reasons. First of all we have to find out the reason. For example, it may be due to vitamin deficiency or electrolyte imbalance. May be due to sleep deprivation or high stress. Our first step must be , checking the blood profile, thyroid function test, vit b12 and vit d levels and electrolyte levels. Should have a basic 6hrs sleep minimum. Have to manage stress. If it is not recovering, we have to go for the neurological checkup
Next Steps
1)blood test for blood profile, TFT, vit b12, vit d, electrolyte levels
2) regulating the sleep cycle
3)manage stress
Health Tips
if blood reports show any abnormalities , have to correct them properly.
I think so you have brain fog and you have to overcome from past issues and you should make yourself occupied and start to learn some new skills so that your brain will again start to recognize things which you are forgetting and tell me after month how are you feeling
