Hello, First thing you will have to do is get a footwear modification:- medial arch support in closed footwear. It is better to get a customised medial arch in your footwear from a good Orthotist. Also, you can do some stretching excercises for your intrinsic muscles of the foot :- toe curls, external foot stretches, picking up small objects from the floor in between your toes.
Next Steps
See an occupational therapist or physiotherapist if still the problem persists

Chiropractic adjustment will help. Use a rolling pin or tennis ball. While seated, roll the rolling pin or ball with the arch of your foot. If you are able to, progress to doing this exercise while you are standing up.

Proper biomechanical assessment is needed, then only the exact reason can be found out. Time to recover depends upon that. Consult with a physiotherapist who have orthopaedic experience.
