Hi, I have flat feet, now walking becomes a strain on my ankle and the arches. Is there anything I could do relieve myself of that pain. Thanks in advance.

Have you diagnosed yourself as flat feet or a doctor has told you? Because I have met people come with self diagnosis to my clinic  as flat feet but they have completely different problems.  Let us assume you have flat feet and is it appeared gradually over how many years? Meet a orthopaedician and get referred to foot and ankle surgeon. Meanwhile meet a physiotherapist and do some gastrosoleus and foot muscle exercises/stretching and a proper arch support footwear. And you will get referred to orthotist if needed.

Have you developed hard, thick skin at pressure points? For time being you can use medial arch support easily available in medical shops. Needs to do foot exercises. And even after all these your complaints persist you need to see orthopaedic surgeon for further treatment.
