Seems planter fascitis, it is a known fact that weight gain and pregnancy are one of the causes of planter fascitis. During pregnancy, the body produces high levels of relaxin, a hormone designed to loosen pelvic ligaments to prepare for childbirth. However, relaxin acts systemically on ligaments throughout the body, including those supporting the arches of the feet. Post-delivery, these stretched ligaments can cause the foot to over-pronate (flatten or roll inward). This altered biomechanics places continuous mechanical stress directly onto the plantar fascia. The plantar fascia acts as a shock-absorbing bowstring that supports the arch of the foot. Any sudden or sustained increase in body weight significantly increases the peak ground impact forces transferred through the heel and arch during walking. This extra load causes repetitive micro-tears and chronic micro-trauma in the fascia, leading to inflammation, thickening, and pain. Repetitive Weight-Bearing: Caring for a newborn involves prolonged standing, pacing, and carrying extra weight (the baby, heavy car seats, baby carriers), which places excessive demand on foot structures that are already under biomechanical stress. Barefoot Walking: New mothers frequently walk barefoot at home while tending to night feedings or nursing, removing necessary arch and heel support.

What u have is called plantar fascitis. Usually it does not resolve with tablets alone. Best management is plantar fascia streching exercise. If u do that exercise daily for a week u will see drastic improvement in your symptoms. Consult a physiotherapist for the exercise.
