My uric acid level is 6.8..How does it impact my body ??..Will it cause any pain in joints/bones ?..

In my opinion uric acid is very necessary to be in control for human body as it creates aches and pains in the small joints after that it can involve large joints u can start with tab. Febustat 40 mg once a day before going to bed for a month and again retest it... get well soon take care

Agreed with dr Srinivasa Rao....Plz take plenty of water as well as seasonal fruits like watermelon,orange,grapes, muskmelon,cucumber,etc...It will help your body to maintain acid base balance .. And meet a good general physician..

Hi... Elevated uric acid levels are not necessarily lead to problems... There are many factors responsible for increasing the uric acid... Starting with certain medications increase the level...certain hormonal problems...sometimes even without any reason body produces lot of uric acid due to purine break down.. I suggest you to meet a general physician to rule out the reason for elevated levels... It is not mandatory that something should go wrong if you have elevated uric acid levels..it is always better to be safe... Hope this is helpful for you...
