Fissure and pain in passing stool
I had a 5 day course of Augment Duo 625, for a dental infection and I took vizylac alongside once a day. However, once the course of medication had completed, I see I am having slight pain and irritation in passing stool. As if anal fissure has developed. Your suggestions to reduce this pain would greatly help. Also, can I use Anovate cream for this? Kindly suggest the dosage. I don't use any medication currently. Thanks.

Augmentin is known to cause stomach upset. It may also cause some burning sensation in the anal region. It will settle down.
You can use Anovate ointment in the meantime.
