Has he developed rashes also? How did he diagnose his chickenpox? No self medication here please .
In addition to taking anti-viral drugs you have to be careful about isolation.

Antivirals can be used in management of chicken pox but they are to be used within 24hr of symptoms . Beyond that if used has no much significance than placebo . So just go for conservative management . For that kindly consult me here in practo .
