Progesterone doesn't cause any changes in the size of the fibroids. For further detailed consultation please seek a proper consultation with a Gynaecologist.

The hormonal changes of pregnancy per say can  also increase the size of the fibroid The effects it will have on pregnancy will depend upon the size and the location of the fibroid Yes it can cause misscarriage if it is a large sized submucosal fibroid
