Baby having fever from morning. After giving the acetominophen syrup the fever didnt come down.  Can i use antibiotic .if ok what kind of antibiotics. What to do. Iam worried

Continue to Give paracetamol for fever...maximum you can give it 6 hourly....you can also use meftal p syp if fever not subsided by paracetamol... Kindly mention age and weight... More detail history requires...

No not  at all . Plz give correct dose of paracetamol .nothing is specified in ur history to tell the dose in right now . Give plenty of water . At least follow dosage instructions for weight   on fever medicine bottle . Do sponging during fever .

Hi, Give paracetamol 6 hrly and sponge if fever goes high.

Give a normal diet with plenty of liquids/ soup. Antibiotics are given for bacterial infection and not for high fever

For High fever seperate medicines are there like ibugesic, meftal etc.  Antibiotics are different and fever control medicines are different.. dont use antibiotics without prescription. It will lead to antibiotic resistance and in future they wont work for the similar illnesses.
