Fever is not going down
Hi, my mother has viral fever since last 5 days she takes  antibiotics and dolo but still fever is not decrease. Temperature is 102 constant. Please suggest what should we do?

Fever in these present times is very critical. It needs to be distinguished from covid vs other various causes of fever. To make the diagnosis i need detailed history from the patient.

advise to do certain blood test CBC D Dimer and CRP... Meanwhile take Tab Calpol 650 three times.. Tab Moxikind CV BD Tab Pantop D empty stomach.

Please don't load her with antibiotics or other drugs...fever for 1 week needs investigations before treatment...the earlier u seek medical advice the better will be the outcome..

Hello dear. Detailed medical history is needed. If it really is a viral fever, it will not respond to conventional antibiotics. So stop giving your mum those and take her to the nearest health facility.
