Fever is not coming down permanently
I have fever for the past 5 days( highest goes upto 103F). I was advised by a doctor to take monocef o 200 along with calpol 650 2 times a day. After taking the medicine the fever goes down for some time then again it shoots up to 102-102 .5F. Its been 5 days since i am taking the prescribed medicine but still there has been no improvement in the health. As advised by the doctor I did LFT, Urine and CBC test and all the results came back normal. So please can you tell me is it just a viral fever or something serious. And also the medication that I can start .
