Fever for five days
My son had a fever for 5 days. And then we tested the blood. It result was in 140000 platelets count and wbc 2100. Next day he dont have a fever but aftee doc adv again we tested the blood I has a 1330000 platelets and 1800 wbc. I have studied that viral fever also reduce platelets count . Is that correct or it may be dengue fever. Pls clarify .

Dengue is also a viral fever.To confirm it we need to  do a specific test.
