Fever and cough at night

Asked for Female, 37 Years

Hi. My 3 year old son has been having fever and coughing with the sound of a deep echo during tge last 2 nights. It seems like he has pain in the throat too while coughing. However, he is perfectly fine during daytime. Please let me know your diagnosis.
