If there is no cough then probably it's a simple cold and one can have occsionly have associated High fever. Viral fevers can last upto 5 days but it is advisable to show to a pediatrician if his fever does not come down by 3 days.

Good morning.. need to know the fever spikes with frequency and trend of fever .. and the colour of secretions and other associated symptoms
You can start with a decongestant like Syp Maxtra (thrice) and paracetamol on SOS basis with Syp Meftal P if fever doesn't respond to paracetamol. ..
Show to your pediatrician if not relieved
