Fever after hernia laparoscopic surgery
My husband undergone laparoscopic hernia surgery on last Saturday... He s on dolo 650 after discharge from hospital.. but today he is having fever again... Is it anything to worry ... He is having severe cough also...m worried pls someone help

It seems unlikely that the fever is related to the surgery. It could be a viral flu. If the fever does not recur, nothing much to worry.

Cough cab be due to General anaesthesia. But post operative fever needs further evaluation. Post operative severe cough in hernia patients can lead to recurrence.

It's been 5days, if frequent High grade fever then needs to be evaluation, due to cough also fever associated.  No need to worry, Any medications going on apart from dolo?
