Feeling hopeless and low
I feel like constantly having a mild pressure on my chest. I feel so worthless. I am continuously scolded by my boss for anything and everything. I work for 12 hours on weekdays, work even on weekends to prove myself but still i never get a word of appreciation. My boss says i am working extra to correct my mistakes. No one has ever treated me so harshly before this. I am always so afraid before office. Each night I am scared of the thought that next day again I have to go to office. I feel like constantly having a mild pressure on my chest. I feel so worthless. I am afraid i will be able to get another job. My friends and family keep reminding of my past achievements, but it doesn't make me feel any good. I don't know how to end all this. I do not want to commit suicide, I am blessed with very good friends and family. What should I do? Please suggest. Thank you

You're expericing stress and anxiety which is associated with and getting triggered by your job and specifically your boss. The amount of hours that you're putting in at work are unhealthy, essentially making your worklife your entire focus. It's compromising your mental health to a great extent; putting yourself through this gruelling workstyle and degrading mental health for validation from your boss.
Next Steps
Contact a mental health professional and start a treatment plan which focuses on Assertiveness, managing Anxeity and Confidence elevation

Hi It sounds like you are going through work stress. You are working hard, and you are not getting appreciated for it by your boss. You are working long hours. You are a dedicated and hard-working person, and you should feel proud of yourself for being a hard-working person. Your concern is not getting appreciated for the effort you put into your work and the thought of work makes you feel nervous. To feel better consult a psychologist and explain about work stress. To understand your case better a psychologist would like to know for how long you have been working in this company. You have a never give up attitude and it is great.

Hi. I believe that if the work environment is so toxic for u then u shud immediately leave the job and seek a job elsewhere. Being in a toxic environment will continuously lead to build up of stress hormones in your system leading to various metabolic disorders like diabetes etc. Even if u don’t find job elsewhere for some time it is ok because ur health is your priority. If u remain healthy u will be able to work. But if u lost your health then quality of life will suffer. So have faith in your abilities and find a new job. U will be able to find a more suitable one. It is also possible that he wants u to quit that’s why he is being like that. So take the signal. Quit the job.

Hi , Consult a Psychologist. The aim is to get to the cause of your work-related stress. When you’re in the midst of a situation, it can be hard to think clearly. Talking to a psychologist in a non-judgmental setting, about the difficulties you’re experiencing can help you understand what may be causing the stress and the steps you can take to overcome it to enjoy your job. Counselling and cognitive behaviour therapy can help you shift from perceiving yourself as having little control over your circumstances to becoming empowered to either change outside pressures or learn with coping mechanisms.
Next Steps
Consult a Psychologist.
Health Tips
Try taking time away from the situation, learning self-help relaxation techniques eg deep breathing.

I understand your situation. It fees really pressurized if someone like a boss keeps scolding always. And it really exhaustive mentally and physically to work over time. Self care is definitely needed to work productively. Its not so easy to work 12 hours. And a worthless person really cant work for 12 hours. This shows that you are worth enough to a great job. Start investing in self care activities like breathing techniques and mindfulness Get self help sessions from psychologist to focus and see what's best in you and how best you are
