Feeling anxious and confused in my head
I was diagnosed with hypertension an year ago and have been taking seloken xl 25 mg. For the past few months I have been feeling anxious nervous with out any reason. I get the feeling something wrong is happening on my head. When I consume alcohol the feeling is high the next day morning. I don't feel normal like before. I am not able to focus on work. Physically I feel to be strong but I don't understand what is happening in my brain.

Hi Confusion is one side effect of the medicine which you are taking for hypertension & you are also taking alcohol which is intensifying the medicine side effect along with alcohol side effects, so please avoid consuming alcohol when you are taking seloken or any other beta blockers.
Next Steps
please consult a psychiatrist to rule out anxiety spectrum disorders without taking alcohol for 1 week or more than that. thank you.
