Feed the baby as per the semi demand schedule,at least every 2 to 3 hourly by waking the baby if necessary or even more frequently if the baby so demands. This will continue  for the 1st 6 months of life ,till baby is on exclusive breast feed.

Try to feed the baby atleast every 2 hourly for first 2 months. If baby wants more you can feed the baby as frequent as he wants. No restriction or maximum limit. Baby sleeps alomost 20 hours a day in this age so recomendations to alteast feed 2 hourly by waking the baby up.
