Fasting Blood sugar high

Asked for Female, 37 Years

Hi, I have diabetes from last 3 years.I had completed all tests and there is no ketosis problem for me.but for the paste few months there was no proper diet and i was not taking tablets regularly. Suddenly when i tested Blood glucose levels fasting and pbs was too higj.I had never had this before Fasting 243 PP 328 HB1AC 9 I know its too high. should i visit a doctor immedietely and get ketosis tested again.I will start using the prescribed tablets but am scared whether should i go to doctor again for this.

It is better that you visit the doctor as you might require different medicines to bring the blood sugar under adequate control. Type 2 diabetics are not routinely tested for ketosis unless the doctor suspects it.
