I've had right-eye strain since 2020. Various treatments, including prism correction and vision therapy, didn’t help. Recently, a cylindrical-only prescription reduced the strain, but mild discomfort persists. My dry eye test results: NIBUT – 9.6s (OD), 17s (OS); Tear meniscus height – 0.30mm (OD), 0.26mm (OS);
Lipid layer thickness – low; Meibomian gland loss – 22% (OD), 17% (OS). Despite proper breaks and lighting, the strain continues. Could my dry eye condition be a factor? What treatments or lifestyle changes would you recommend to reduce discomfort?"
