Extreme cough at 26 week pregnancy
My wife is currently 26 weeks pregnant and since 31-dec she is having cough which is not getting resolved at all even after taking doctor prescribed syrup "deletus-D" and also reguler gurgle and vapour. She has a history of dust allergy and same type of cough earlier also and that time she had taken Allegra along with ascoril syrup. But as she is pregnant now, we are not sure what to do. The gynaecologist also not able to say anything on this. Seeking guidance on this.

Consult a chest medicine specialist. She may even need a nebulizer. So much coughing can lead to preterm deliveries.
