Extraction of wisdom
After extraction of two wisdom tooth of my wife (1 normally and another with 3 stitches) doc have given two antibiotics (amoxicillin, metrogyl), 1 pain killer(Sig),1 pan 40 , trypsin-chymotrypsin tab. I want to understand why these tablets are needed for period of 1 week and what is function of each...

Hi.. these are very essential medicines to help wound healing and treat infection following surgical extraction. Amoxicillin and metrogyl are antibiotics - they are given prevent possible infection. Pain killer - to bring down pain. Pan 40- to control acidity created by painkillers. Trypsin-chymotrypsin - to reduce swelling. These all are needed for a week. Regards

Hello This all have necessary to prevent infection of extraction site bith antibiotics will work Pain killers so that no pain should be there Pan 40 so that gastric problems should not be there Trypsin and chymo sovthat if any swelling is there it will subside easily
