Novelon is a hormonal pill, and cabergoline helps lower your prolactin. Spotting a few days after your period ends, in the early months on this combination, is usually breakthrough bleeding as your body adjusts, not a sign the treatment has stopped working.
Next Steps
Keep taking both medicines as prescribed, and track how many days the spotting lasts and whether it eases over the next cycle or two. If it continues past 2 to 3 cycles, happens most months or gets heavier, ask your gynaecologist to recheck your prolactin and pelvic scan.
Health Tips
See your gynaecologist sooner if the bleeding becomes heavy, comes with pelvic pain, or starts happening every month.
