Excessive menstrual bleeding and fibroid

Asked for Female, 43 Years

43 yrs. Diagnosed with fibroids 3 yrs back. Experiencing excessive menstrual bleeding since past 1 week. Blood also falling in clots. Got pelvic ultrasound fibroids size increased. Ovaries normal. Doctor prescribed Sylate tablets and iron supplements yesterday. Today she gave Sylate injection. Inthenet, it says sylate shouldn't be takenwith fibroid

If fibroids are more than 5-6 cm , i will advice to go for surgery and get them removed. Lot depends on number of fibroids, location and symptoms. Consult doctor again. Ethamsylate is just to decrease blood loss , no effect on fibroids
