Anterior wall subserosal fibroid
It has been 11 months of marriage and my wife is diagnosed with "anterior wall subserosal fibroid" ? Size is 1.7 X 1.1cm 1. How much we should be worried ? As in google its mentioned that in some cases uterus might need to be removed. 2. Can this be genetically transferred because her mother got her uterus removed because of fibroids when my wife was 12-13 y/o? 3. Can this affect her fertility? 4. Any specific precautions to be taken to avoid increase in fibroid as she is quite stressed after this diagnosis ?

Fibroids are common problem nowadays. They can run in families. They can cause problems with periods, and also can affect fertility if they are big and closer to endometrial cavity , where pregnancy grows. In your case they are small and also well away from uterine/ endometrial cavity. No need for any treatment now. But better to follow up with 6 months- yearly scans and also to plan for pregnancy soon .
