Excess tension force on neck
I am suffering from c3-c4 disc bulge, I was taking medication and it gives me sufficient pain relief, I consult a physiotherapist and he advised me traction, so I was doing traction with the help of a person but he applied excess tension force on my neck and my weight is 80kg, the force is so strong that I get moved in the direction of force,the force is applied slowly not abruptly, it results in slight vertigo and nausea for one to two days and now I am suffering from neck pain and pain at the base of the skull near cv junction, all the neck movement like flexion, extension, rotation, lateral bending ,and nodding movement of head are pain free without any neurological compromise, should I do a cv junction and cervical spine mri, I am very afraiding of c1-c2 instability or ligament injury, please advise, also tell me how much tension force CV junction and neck can withstand safely, please advise me as soon as possible request to practo

If pain is more go for electrotherapy treatment. After that do strengthening exercises. Visit nearby clinic

Hello... If all the movement are pain-free and there is no neurological compromise then there is no requirement for mri.. Consult nearest physiotherapist for proper diagnosis and some electrotherapy and manual therapy.
Next Steps
apply ice pack on the painful area 3-4 times a day for 10 min. take rest n try to maintain your head and neck posture while sitting n sleeping.

If there ia no pain and the movements are free then no need to go fir MRI. If you are feelings any mild sitffness or pain around the neck then you go for X-ray. Apply hot pack twice a day to get relief from pain or can visit physiotheraoy clinic for ultrasound theraoy. through ultrasound the pain will get reduced completely.
