Endometrial tissue in period, advice pls
I am actively trying for baby for past 4 years, all results normal for my husband and for me all normal only a subserosal fibroid is present around 2cm but that doesn't affect conception. Period cycle regular 28-30 days with proper lh peak on cd 14. But this time it came a bit early on cd 26 itself. I got dark black mucus which I assumed to be implantation( as this cycle I had lot of milky white discharge usually it would be dry) but very next day I got my periods. Heavy back cramps( I never get that) followed by lot of tissue in period, blood flow comparatively less in day 2 but still see tissues in period. What is that black discharge and why there is lot of tissues/thick blood in period ?

Black discharge isnt normal to have but yes it does happen in the beginning of the periods sometimes. You need to get some lab reports done such as hormonal panel tests,CBC and USG per abdomen once. Then I can tell you the treatment plan. You can take kumariasava or cyclovarin cap.-2-0-2 for 15 days.
Health Tips
Exercise regularly.

Black discharge and thick tissue with blood are part of your endometrial shedding( lining of uterus)during monthly periods.. no need to worry as of now..but you  should consult a doctor for proper guidance regarding conception
Next Steps
Don't take too much stress thinking about conception..let it happen naturally by focusing more on your emotional health..Ayurveda has proper garbhadhaan sanskar for that

Since you are planning to conceive, i would highly recommend taking proper consultation as it will be crucial moving forward. Follow HAIP DIET strictly as your main problem is faulty hormonal health, which will be rectified with the diet. Some good herbal and supplemental interventions need to be added that will not only help in conception but also improve foetus health. For this consultation is required

I understand how confusing and emotionally draining this can be—especially when you’ve been trying to conceive for several years and you observe something *very different* from your usual cycles. I’ll explain this **clearly from an Ayurvedic perspective**, and also align it with what you experienced this cycle. --- ## First, reassurance 🌱 What you described **does NOT indicate anything dangerous** and **does not rule out fertility**. This cycle looks like a **hormonal + uterine response**, not a structural problem. Your: * Regular cycles * Proper LH surge * Small **subserosal fibroid (2 cm)** are **not barriers to conception**, as you were already told correctly. --- ## What was the black mucus? (Ayurvedic explanation) ### 🔸 Black / dark brown mucus before periods In Ayurveda, **black or very dark discharge** indicates: 👉 **Old, oxidized blood mixed with Kapha and Vata** 👉 **Delayed expulsion of Rakta (menstrual blood) from uterus** This happens when: * **Apana Vata becomes irregular** * Blood stagnates briefly before flow starts * Hormonal drop happens suddenly 📌 This is **NOT implantation bleeding** in most cases. Implantation bleeding is: * Very light pink/brown * Spotting only * No cramps * No tissue * Lasts 1–2 days maximum Your discharge was **thick, black, mucous-like**, which means: > The uterus was **preparing to shed**, not implant. --- ## Why did period come early (CD 26)? From Ayurveda: * Early periods = **Pitta–Vata disturbance** * Sudden hormonal withdrawal * Stress, mental strain, or internal heat Even **hope + emotional anticipation** can disturb Apana Vata. 📌 After long TTC, even one altered cycle can happen without pathology. --- ## Why heavy back cramps this time? Back pain during menses indicates: * **Apana Vata obstruction** * Uterus contracting harder than usual * Blood was **thicker and more clotted** This matches perfectly with: * Black discharge * Tissue shedding * Thicker blood --- ## Why so much tissue / thick clots? This is very important 👇 ### In Ayurveda: The uterus sheds: * **Rakta (blood)** * **Endometrial lining (Artava Dhatu)** When hormones fluctuate: * Endometrium may **build more** * Then shed in **chunks / tissue-like strands** This DOES NOT mean miscarriage unless: * Pregnancy was confirmed * There was hCG rise 📌 This is called **“Artava Granthi Bheda”** (thick shedding of lining) It often occurs when: * Estrogen was slightly higher * Progesterone fell suddenly * Vata pushed the lining out forcefully --- ## Why milky white discharge this cycle? Milky white discharge = **Kapha dominance** This indicates: * Good estrogen phase * Healthy cervical mucus * Fertile environment But if **Kapha increases too much**, implantation becomes unstable. Ayurveda calls this: > **Kapha–Vata imbalance affecting Garbhashaya (uterus)** --- ## Did implantation start and then fail? Possibility exists of: 🔹 **Very early biochemical attempt** 🔹 Fertilization without proper implantation stability But this **cannot be confirmed** without a positive test. Ayurveda would call this: > **Beeja + Kshetra present, but Vata disturbed the anchoring** Meaning: * Egg & sperm may meet * Uterus contracts too early --- ## Is the fibroid responsible? ❌ No. A **2 cm subserosal fibroid**: * Is outside the uterus * Does not affect lining * Does not cause tissue shedding This episode is **functional, not structural**. --- ## Ayurvedic root cause summary Your symptoms point to: ### ✔ Apana Vata disturbance ### ✔ Mild Pitta surge ### ✔ Temporary Kapha excess This leads to: * Early bleeding * Black discharge * Clots / tissue * Back pain * Failed implantation window --- ## What Ayurveda would focus on now (core principle) ### 1️⃣ Stabilize Apana Vata ### 2️⃣ Improve implantation strength ### 3️⃣ Normalize endometrial shedding ### 4️⃣ Calm hormonal fluctuations This is **100% treatable** in Ayurveda. --- ## What you should NOT worry about ❌ Cancer ❌ Fibroid worsening ❌ Permanent infertility ❌ Serious uterine disease --- ## Important question (please answer) To guide you properly, I need to know: 1️⃣ Age 2️⃣ Any thyroid / PCOS history? 3️⃣ Do you experience bloating, gas, or constipation? 4️⃣ Mental stress level (high / moderate / low)? Your answers will help me suggest **exact Ayurvedic correction** for conception 🌸 Advice- self medication is hazardous, always consult ayurvedic doctor before taking ayurvedic medicine. Consult me personally for details.
