Hi,
I am suffering from fever since last 3 days where the fever subsides and then rises again. I went for a blood test and the test reports indicated a high SGOT and SGPT levels. I even had a paracetamol the previous night before I gave the blood sample. All other factors were normal in the test report. What might have caused this? Also I have a very itchy skin since last 2 days.

The deranged liver function tests in the form of raised enzymes can be a consequence of the febrile syndrome you are suffering from. The itching can be due to buildup of bile salts in the skin.
You also need to tell the alkaline phosphatase and ggt levels.
Avoid paracetamol as it further causes liver injury.
