Effectiveness of Tmj splint therapy
My tmj disorder problem is started due to excessive teeth clenching or grinding (intentionally) due to my misaligned teeth (overbite problem). This changes the shape of my face and my bite badly. After almost 1year of splint therapy for tmj disorder my doctor started orthodontic treatment with tmj splint to correct my bite .  Now I am realising that I am getting back my normal bite slowly. What are the effects of this type of teeth clenching on my jaw joint and jaw muscles? Is there anything harmful sign that can't be treated? Can this treatment come back my total normal bite? Also I am feeling some various type of sounds coming from my neck and back with little pain when I try to strech or bend them. What should I do now for my neck and back to improve them ?
