EDD is based on LMP or Ultrasound
I had my last periods on 24th April according to which my EDD should be 29th Jan. But my ultrasound report everytime mentions EDD as 25th Jan. So my doctor also calculates week based on 25th Jan So for her week completes 4 days prior to LMP dates. Is it fine, like for me today it's 36 week 5 days and she will consider 37 week 2 days. Also since I am 35 yrs old she is planning for inducing labor once I complete 38 weeks according to 25th Jan Is everything ok here this week calculation and inducing pain not waiting for natural pain.

In a regular 30 days edd  is calculated by adding 9months n 7days to the lmp In case of irregular periods or forgotten dates it's the first ultrasound which is taken into concentration to calculate the edd not subsequent ultrasounds
