Last time I got Eczema on leg, I was prescribed Momate Lotion (0.1%). I again got Eczema now on face (around nose and mouth) but it has almost healed. Only the hyperpigmentation is remaining. Can I use the same medicine to reduce the pigmentation?

Hi
Your Issue has been noted.
No ...you cannot use the same medicine to reduce the pigmentation.
However, a more detailed history and description will be required together with some clear pics of the problem to make a proper assessment.
Some lab tests also as per the requirement.
There is nothing to worry about.
It should be easily sorted out

The steroid prescribed was to improve the redness itching and oozing from the eczema, not to treat the pigmentation. Please don’t use it. Pictures and a better history are required for prescribing medications right now.
