Can ecospirin affect lupus anticoagulant test results?I tested positive for anti cardiolipin antibody igm and beta glycoprotein (15 igg and 13igm) after a miscarriage. Lupus and ANA negative. I was asked to be on ecospirin to prepare for next pregnancy. Now after 12 weeks, I am asked to test again. I am taking ecospirin daily. Will it affect my test results for lupus specifically and Apla?

Ecosprin doesn't cause changes in the results of ANA or ACLA or APLA antibodies. It only reduces the thromboplastin level and the platelet aggregation. It thus reduces the coagulability of the blood and facilitates the blood circulation to the uterus and placenta.
