Dear Doctors,
I am currently 18 weeks pregnant. I am on ecospirin right from the start as it's IVF pregnancy but my doctor increased dosage from 75 to 150 at 17 weeks without any reasoning besides it being IVF.
I have heard this dosage might increase the risk of placental abruption and risk of some fetal heart valve defects. Could you please advise me on its safety.

In Ivf the chances of complications are high so to prevent them the ecosprin had started already from the start of your pregnancy
But the dose increase from 75 to 150 should also be done early as possible or before 12 wks
No need to worry
They will stop ecosprin in 9th month
