Aspirin dosage in pregnancy
Dear Doctors, I am currently 18 weeks pregnant and conceived through IVF treatment. I have been on ecospirin 75mg since the start, all scan results including NT have been normal. Recently, in 17 weeks, my gynae advised me that I can increase dosage to 150mg as my mother got hypertension at 45 years. I have been reading that >100mg aspirin after 16 weeks can cause placental rupture. Dear Doctors, please advise from your experience and protocol. I cannot avail best medical services from where I am.

When there is a family history and already Ivf treatment to prevent further complications start on aspirin is good but need to start as early as possible after conception or before 12 wks The dose recommend will not cause serious effects Drug always given on risk vs benefits
