I am 35 yrs old..I am 5 months pregnant with no family history of chromosomal abnormalities..Recently my Anamoly scan was done which was all normal except at one point where an single intracardiac echogenic focus is seen in LV. My dual marker test and quadruple marker test results are all normal.( Low risk ) My NT/ NB scan which was done in 1st trimester was all normal..During Anamoly scan foetal echo cardiography was also done..all points were normal..please tell whether this echogenic focus is a matter of concern?

This is a fairly common finding in sonographic scan. To my knowledge it is not associated with any cardiac abnormality which may be dangerous to foetus.
No action is required except cardiac sonography of the baby when it is born.
