Ecogenic Focus In left ventricle
I am 19 weeks pregnant yesterday i went for tiffa scan and i have been noted with ecogenic focus in left ventricle my NT/NB was normal my double marker was at low risk is this anything to worry and previously a month before pregnancy I was also detected with cytomegalovirus (CMV) Igg posivite rest all other TORCH Test Igg Igm was negative .

Echogenic cardiac foci is most of the time a normal finding provided that your screening test and Anamoly scan is normal nothing much to worry .Torch IgG indicates old infection.

IGg positive does not indicate any infection it is indicative of past infection or immunity and is not a matter of concern Ecogenic focus requires further evaluation in the form of fetal echocardiography at 22 to  24weeks
