Early pregnancy scan at 5 weeks
Hi, I had a TVS @ 5 weeks 0 days yesterday & there is a gestational sac measuring 5.8 mm but no yolksac. Is that ok?? My HCG was 35.9 mIU/ml @ 4 weeks 1 day. Is my pregnancy progressing correct? Last October had a miscarriage where HCG started with 50.9 mIU/ml @ 4 weeks 3 days could see a GS @ 5 weeks 2 days with no yolk sac but in repeat scan at 7 weeks there was no heartbeat & sac was irregular in shape which is why I had to terminate the pregnancy @ 8 weeks. With my first daughter who is 4 years old, my HCG started off slow, HCG was between 3-4 weeks at 4 weeks 5 days. But could see a yolk sac at 5 weeks 6 days & heartbeat at 7 weeks 4 days. Is my current pregnancy progressing right?? Thanks in advance.

Bhcg more than hundred is confirmitory for pregnancy Doubling values in 48 hours indicate a normal intraiter in pregnancy Till then you will have to wait till 6 weeks for a fetal pole to be seen and at 7 weeks the heartbeat should be seen
