Taking antibiotics without a doctor's prescription is harmful as it can lead to antibiotic resistance.
You should visit an ENT and get yourself examined if you catch frequently common cold and have eustachian tube dysfunction which leads to blocked ears.

If earache is due to cold dont use ear drops..try putting saline nasl drops and take steam..consult in order to know whether antibiotics are required or not
If you are having a common cold the 1st thing u need to do is to avoid sniffing back the mucus that produces in your nose and Remove the mucus out from the nose correctly.
If taking Tablet Montek FX one tablet at Night one hour before sleep.
Take steam Inhalation
Once your nose is clear of Common cold your ear will be open.
You need ENT examination to get your ear checked
If there is pain due to wax then you need to get it removed, if you have wista hain tube dysfunction then treatment is different..
In either case moxifloxacin ear drops won’t help you either pain
