Severe cold for past two days...mild cold mild throat infection two days before.short Antibiotic course got rid of the throat ache. Right ear blocked for 3-4 days. 30%less hearing. No pain. Is it because of the cold and congestion or something else?

it's very common to experience ear blocks after an attack of common cold. most of the times its self limiting and does not require any treatment. if symptoms persist then consult nearby ENT specialist

Use a good nasal decongestant drops as you eustachian tubes seem to be blocked. Steam inhalation will also help. Have plenty of HOT fluids.
