Good morning ma'am, normally we have a tube that connects our individual ear to the side of nostril. Now due to a cold episode this is tube could've been blocked, resulting in blocked sensation in Ear/ringing sensation/decreased hearing/resound of your own voice/pain in the ear etc.
Next Steps
My suggestion is to get proper ENT Examination done, check for any deviation in the nasal septum, check the status of your Ear drum.
Health Tips
In the meanwhile you can try Inhaling and Exhaling Steam through your nose, two times/day (morning and night), use Saline Nasal Drops 3 drops in each nostril, three times/day. Avoid cold foods, drinks etc.
